What an amazing city full of colour. It really was a fantastic place to shoot and they turned out great. I have a few friends who are Indian and I after stories they told me I can see how busy and full of energy some cities are.

What were some of the interesting ingredients you found in the market? If only you were given the opportunity to cook with a local, I would have loved to see you capture that!

omg, i never saw this post!! Your photos are magnificent, I have never been to India before…but I know that one day I will hehe you used such lovely words to describe moments of your trip, and in one particular sentence you set this wonderful tone to your post… (“All washed down with cooling mango lassis in the daytime and very cold Kingfisher beer in the evening”)…so well written!!

Oh my God, you’ve captured India’s soul on your amazing pictures. I went to Mumbai last year and completely-totally fell in love with the country. India (in my humble opinion) have one of the best food in the world, and people are the nicer and friendly I ever meet. I can’t wait to go back there.

But, hey in a way, you just bring me there. For a few minutes. But good enough. THANKS.

How beautiful it all looks! I wish I was able to travel more, there are so many places I would love to see … India being one of them. Glad you enjoyed the little time you had there and perhaps next time it will be for longer.

The photo of the two women talking is my favorite. I imagine some drama between them, based on their facial expressions – like they’re gossiping about a mutual frenemy, or are frenemies themselves.

Lovely photos – you have a knack for capturing more than an image, you capture a story. I can only imagine how nice it would be to explore India through your eyes if you were there for 2 weeks.

Breathtaking photos Peter! The fresh produce looks so pristine and there’s so many colours everywhere (love the bottles in the shop window).
