They happen all the time. I’m setting up a shot and I accidentally press the button! I made this deep dish apple pie for the weekend (something I’ve wanted to make for a long time-recipe soon to follow). Just wanted to share it all as I found it quite amusing! Smile. Laugh. Life is good. Hope you enjoy the weekend.

Even in your outtake, the lighting is perfect! love it! Chucks are super photogenic, too, no?
Haha, watch your step!
Life IS good Peter:D
Don’t kick the bowl, peter!!

Love the unexpected contrast of your Converse sneaks against that delicious looking pie
.

Fab shot, certainly brought a smile to my face!
Have a wonderful weekend!
That’s a fun happening. Love it!
outtake? i find it fantastic because it’s so different! i love your humor peter you are my kind of guy. we need to meet up!
How many different ways do you think you could caption that photo – or create a story. It would make a fabulous marketing piece.
haha, I just love it. Happy Weekend Peter.
Still looks good. Though people with foot phobias might not touch the pie afterwards. I like it!
We are on the same wavelength. I just made the “Ultimate Apple Pie” recipe by Matt Tebutt. You don’t have to cut the edges off the pastry because they fall off in the oven. We then eat the biscuity bits that have fallen like candy. Winter is just the best time for apple pie.
This made me laugh Peter! Reminds me not to take life so seriously. I’m waiting for the recipe!!!
Wow. Just wow. Truly this is art. GREG
Dear Peter – I can’t believe I have never peeped into your wonderful corner here before now. I am already partial to you – your wonderful pics and anecdotes of Sydney and Melbourne are delightful. Being a student of UNSW myself, you can understand why
Your food is stunning in every way possible. I am so glad t have found your blog. Your pics are art.
Ciao, Devaki @ weavethousandflavors

“Smile. Laugh. Life is good.” Love it!
OOh cant wait for the recipe!
Love this – we all have things in the shot sometimes that don’t belong there. Is that natural lighting?
