apple pie outtake

They happen all the time.  I’m setting up a shot and I accidentally press the button!  I made this deep dish apple pie for the weekend (something I’ve wanted to make for a long time-recipe soon to follow).  Just wanted to share it all as I found it quite amusing!  Smile.  Laugh.  Life is good.  Hope you enjoy the weekend.

How many different ways do you think you could caption that photo – or create a story. It would make a fabulous marketing piece.

Still looks good. Though people with foot phobias might not touch the pie afterwards. I like it!

We are on the same wavelength. I just made the “Ultimate Apple Pie” recipe by Matt Tebutt. You don’t have to cut the edges off the pastry because they fall off in the oven. We then eat the biscuity bits that have fallen like candy. Winter is just the best time for apple pie.

Dear Peter – I can’t believe I have never peeped into your wonderful corner here before now. I am already partial to you – your wonderful pics and anecdotes of Sydney and Melbourne are delightful. Being a student of UNSW myself, you can understand why :)

Your food is stunning in every way possible. I am so glad t have found your blog. Your pics are art.

Ciao, Devaki @ weavethousandflavors

Love this – we all have things in the shot sometimes that don’t belong there. Is that natural lighting?
