Happy Easter Peter! I adore those decorative breads with boiled eggs inside.

Hola Peter,

When my bf and I lived in NY (Queens actually) we used to live on the *Greek side* and I just love it. Specially this time of the year, today, reading your blog I have such vivid memories of our nice Greek neighbors and the terrific diners we used to have over there.

I specially remember my first Greek Easter diner at a(n) (American-) Greek Restaurant, we just end up there without even know it was Easter (we’re Catholics) and the owners of the Restaurant were having their private family party, they invited us to join. It was awesome, one of the best meals we ever had.

Happy Easter to you and your family.

Happy Easter! It’s nice to learn how you use red eggs in your country. The Chinese uses red eggs too but on different occasion, when the new born baby is one month old, the parents will make these red eggs and distribute to their friends and relatives.

Happy Easter!
I’d never have thought of placing boiled eggs in a brioche, I have seen a thai cake made with a boiled egg in the middle before, thanks for sharing this interesting tradition! :)
