First off I'd like to say a very big thank you to everyone who sent me emails, left comments and tweeted about the interview I did for Learn Food Photography. It was a great privilege and honour to be able to express my thoughts and processes about how I tackle food photography. I hope I made sense...I did cringe a little at the sound of my own voice!
For this Photo Friday I wanted to capture a classic breakfast-bacon and eggs. It's an occasional treat I allow myself every once in a while. The shots are quite moody with a strong use of shadows. I also wanted that glorious yolk to feature strongly in the picture complemented by the orange in the juice. And let's not forget the toast! Hope you like them. Maybe you'll get to make some on the weekend.
